Grandpappy: Still Shinin' - Sat. April 26

Postby Wisenheimer » Mon Mar 24, 2014 3:21 pm

Grandpappy: Still Shinin’

Deep in the woods of the PACNW lives an old country bumpkin from Tennessee, who legend has it makes the most delicious and satisfying moonshine ever produced.

In the last incident, the ATF had decided to take action to stop Grandpappy’s production. However, the Russians also raided the still and caught the ATF by surprize.

In the chaos, Grandpappy and his boys managed to escape to fight another day.

That day is here.

Both the ATF and the Russians have come a-knockin’!

Grandpappy and his boys still hate the Government, still hate the Russians, but their success in defending Grandpappy and his moonshine have made them cockier than ever. They have dug themselves into a fortress of moonshine mass production.

This time, they won’t be retreating...

Objectives

The still will have a reservoir of Moonshine, White Lightnin’, Mt. Dew, Hootch, or what is actually WATER. There will also be several barrels of ‘shine.

Teams must seize as many barrels of moonshine as possible.

The side with the most Moonshine at the end of the game wins!

You "heard"? Where did you hear this? We're expecting 60+/-. Who said nobody is coming?

So if nobody is coming, them you definitely SHOULD come to this game. Why?

Because we're raffling off a Weekend Pass to Riddick's Infidel Bash 2014, which will be an awesome event.

Can't speak for how many people may show up to this, but the event that I attended a little while ago has about 40-50 people at it and it was perfect at that number. The lower player count gave rise to teams to play hunter/hunter-killer in the dense foliage while single-riders battled it out over objectives. Made for an intense and fun experience.

Maybe this isn't the place for "Higher player counts dont mean better events" argument, but that is my 2 cents. Your milage may vary.

I totally agree that sometimes a smaller player count makes for more fun. We played at the last game when there were two others the same weekend at other fields. We didn't have many people, but i bet we had more fun :P

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

Scan a card? Yes, indeed we can!

Tomorrow looks to be dry all day, with rain in the evening. Should be a fantastic day to be outside!

Also, the new fort now has a tower.

2 doors in. 3 rooms to clear to get into the center, whichever door you choose to enter. That's where the objectives are set. This is going to be insane. ;)
