We'd like to thank everyone that came out to OP: Invasion. It was a huge success and a great way for Specdet1 to get back in the hosting groove. The weather was great for nearly the entire weekend and the attitude from the players was amazing!
We look forward to hosting more OPs in the future.

Yes thank you for hosting the game guys! It's always good to go out and have some fun with your friends and making new ones as well. Best part was the camp fire talking about the games and what happen and other war stories from the past. The attitudes from everyone was GREAT. It went both ways from me and others that if a possible shot looked like it hurt the player or stung them I could hear from the shooter "Are you ok?". The person shot would give a thumbs up. Saw this SEVERAL times. Loved seeing both sides working as a group rather then people just going around and shooting what ever. The PROPS were off the chain. LOVED them! We also tried out a new game. DMZ or something like that. BOY WHAT A CHALLENGE!! That kept EVERYONE moving and focus on the main area which made it easy for admins to make sure things go well. Our first time trying this was Saturday night. Then we did it again on Sunday. Yes a smaller crowed on Sunday which was expected but there was some good runs and movements from both sides! 1 new rule you guys added I LOVED was the Thunder B's. Only way to die is being hit by a Bb. So if the Thunder B had Bbs in it and it went off most likely you would be hit and have to go back to respond. If no Bb's then it would be just a noise distraction with no kill radius.
I'm pretty sure I lite Jew up on Sundays night game pretty good. Sry about that one how ever on Sunday I was able to shoot at ShortBus but not sure if I hit him as the game was pretty fast pace and you had to keep moving. Also a pplleasure of running with Rantax and WhipLash on Sunday. It's always good running around with friends. CrossBow I was on the hunt for you on Saturday but wasn't able to find ya. Phiz I'm sure glad you never saw me in your sights as I'm sure you would have rung my bell with that bad &*# sniper you have. Hope to see you all soon and take care.

Sorry this took a bit longer to get this out than I wanted.

SpecDet1 did a great job of keeping the objectives rolling out and making sure both side were engaged. The combination of props and missions’ made for a great event. Personally I really enjoy the long OP without a break, but I could tell not everyone was ready for the task. Even with a lot of tired folks by the end of the day Sportsmanship was always great on both sides.

The Red Team was tough to go up against and even though Blue might not have won by total points; we sure accomplished a lot of objectives:

-Secured and setup our FOB, lost it and recovered it again.
-Located and returned all 6 envelopes containing intel to our repawn
-Found the lost recon unit and escorted them to safety
-Located the downed pilot and returned him to respawn.

We almost had made it to Red’s communication tower to destroy it, but just did not have enough forces left on the field by the end of the day.

Bottom line for me is PF had a great time and the Blue Team was awesome to command!

In case you hadn't heard, the Mind Controlled team won by 183 points. That's a lot closer then anyone really thought it would be. They completed a lot of their missions (neither side was aware of the others missions). Blue team had 10 minutes of denial time on the sector tower, which was amazing seeing as it was 100yrds from the Red spawn point (purposefully so).

Had blue blown up the comms tower, you would have won. Guess we'll need an Op Invasion 2- Still Mind Controlled to determine the overall winner. Next time though, there need to be more tinfoil hats...

Thanks everyone for coming out and making it a great game. I know not everyone was ready for a 6hr straight event, but this is what we are moving to so we don't have to mid day lul. Bringing everything you need out to the field will keep the gameplay going strong and prevents a reset.
