Continuing our series of sponsor interviews, Barrett went to Oregon Airsoft Arena to see what they are doing. They showed us a cool bomb prop, and they gave us a sneak peak at their raffle donation. They will be doing 3000psi HPA fills onsite as well. Make sure you check them out and give them a like.
Don't forget to go to our event page and click that you will be going. Our sponsors are watching and like to see that number get bigger and bigger!

Given how hot and dry it is, plan on a no for smokes. If anything changes we will be sure to let everyone know though!

This is correct. Due to the time of year and the dry conditions, smoke grenades are not allowed. Unless we get a crazy rain day the day before, we won't be using them due to the fire risk. Last thing we need is to burn the field down. (Yes, I know that Enola Gaye is "cold burning"... But I watched the NATO team at the original MSW Clash on the Stepps start 6 grass fires with them).

There were two more started at this last one with them.

I think the best one was the smoke that was picked up and thrown a few times and started multiple fires.

The theory is that if you hold it andlet it start putting otu smoke first, it helps avoid fire, but the above event kind of debunked that.

SUMMER SLAUGHTER 7 is next weekend and the weather is looking awesome.

If you haven’t already done it, check your loadout in prep for all the great mini OPS and make a list of stuff you need. There are a lot of folks selling some great gear.

See you on the field!!!

Thank you guys for hosting another SS for us!! This year it seemed you had a lot more games which I LOVED! Great seeing a lot of old friends and meeting newbies as well. To the venders and swap meet guys. Thank you for bring your stuff out. My favorite game you guys did was alter the sniper hunt. Instead of snipers you sent a squad out. LOVED IT!!! First one was 10 players and boy that was a chase. Second one had 20 guys. We had them surrounded and if we had just a few more minutes it would have been a big battle. They were totally surrounded and had no idea we had a small group right behind them sneaking closer and closer.
The Arm band raffle ticket was a great idea. Keep doing that for sure! Can't wait for the next game and hope to see you guys soon.
