[MISC] Winter Expo 2018

February 10th 10am to 6pm
It's back again for 2018 and even BIGGER! Winter Expo 2018 is a chance to buy, sell or trade used equipment... as well as buy new equipment from vendors. G&G, KWA, ASG, Elite force, Polar Star, Classic Army USA, Echo 1, Jag precision and MORE will be there. The arena and shooting ranges will also be open for play and prizes will be raffled off.

This is the seventh annual winter expo and by far the largest airsoft event in the north-west. In the last few years we have averaged between 500 and 650 people attend and this year looks better. I have included a list of some of the people you might know that attended in the last couple of years.

We had lots of buyers last year at this well-attended swap meet, if you are thinking about clearing out some gear, this will be the place to do it!

I’m glad to announce that FOAD will be doing another donation program for new players. This will be our third year doing this. We would like to collect anything airsoft related such pouches, slings, hats, clothes, gears, barrels and guns. Internal or external it doesn’t matter. What we do is take these items and clean them up and fix them if needed and possible and then hand them out to the new players. This year we will be doing this at Summer Slaughter which is hosted by Specdet1. We hope that if you have some of these items and thinking about throwing them away or have trouble trading or selling that you will think of our program and help a new fellow airsofter. Last year we gave away 4 M4’s and 2 hand guns and various other items. Before doing this we will be announcing that it is from the airsoft community and wanting to help promote new players to this great sport. So please swing by our booth (FOAD) at the Winter Expo and drop off whatever and say hi. We look forward to meeting more players and seeing what we can collect for the next batch of players we see. Quick query as I’ve never been to one of these expos before and would like to:
Is there an entry fee?

If I remember right it is $15 a head. I'd say it is totally worth it! Lots of raffles and bargain prices and trading gear. Meeting a TON of players and just hanging out having fun. I suggest wear something warm as it does get cold. If you plan on playing indoors just remember the FPS limit is like 350 fps with 0.20. No announcement yet on what that cost will be but it is usually at a discount.

I've never understood the lack of transparency when it comes to pricing with this event.

I don't think it's too much to ask to have the prices posted for us. This way we all know what we are paying and it be the same rate for everyone and if we want to reserve space then call.
