Yeah, those dirty liberals would definitely do that, cause they're just out to ruin everyone's fun!

Hey why do you think the ATF seizes guns and crap like that all the time? L-I-B-E-R-A-L-S

Yeah! Why else would the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms seize guns? It must be those damn dirty liberals. They can totally control the actions of government agencies.

I mean I can't remember the last time I could turn on the tv and not see some atf agent walking into a gun-owners house at the behest of a crowd of rioting liberals. Sarcasm

You should probably refrain from spouting off unfounded nonsense about sociopolitical concepts which you do not thoroughly grasp. This is especially applicable to forum members under the age of majority.

I am a parent and I am very active in my sons interest in Airsoft and his desire to build up the Cadet Airsoft Rangers to be a responsible all youth team. Kids playing in the neighborhood with guns is one of the things that we are trying to make a difference about. http://www.fps-tac.com/car/parents.htm

Here are some things that we would like to see:
1)Outlaw springers everywhere. If it is a cheap, easily broken, easily painted black, clear piece of garbage it should be gone. No "real" Airsofter would use such a gun so the only reason to carry them is to give kids something to brandish at the police and each other.

2)You can not buy an Airsoft gun without a team ID. This would force all those kids who like to knock around the neighborhood to join a team. We would even have new teams mostly of kids and we would have an opportunity to teach them how to Airsoft correctly.

3)If you are caught in public with your replica by the police using it in any threatening or illegal way you lose your team ID and your team captain gets a call. Those people would get however many warnings their captain decided to give then they would be permanently banned from the sport.

4)If you are caught in public with an Airsoft replica without a team ID or with a revoked team ID you will be arrested and treated the same way as if you had a regular gun illegally.

If we got these things into law the rest would fall into place. We could publicize our sport and even televise some games and people who didn't know what Airsoft was before might find a sport they would love. But it needs to be a sport not just a game to play around the neighborhood.

Oh my word...as an anti-necro post parent, all necro-posters should be arrested. And double the prison term if what they say is rubbish.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

I seriously hope you're joking.

Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

Your team CO hasn't issued you one? Thought all teams had a team ID. Tell your team commander to hit me up if he wants some made.
