Who knows maybe they have had a few reports but can't act because they have nothing to go on. So as a responsible airsofter that wants action taken against these fucktards. And not being of the type to personally track them down and introduce them to the sole of my boot. Its the one thing I can actually do to voice my concern and not just have it be blowing smoke on a web forum. Will they ignore it? possibly. But I feel better having spoken up rather then just frown and grumble on a forum.

Fair enough, in a way it is better to act than to just sit back and let others deal with it, because generally in that way nothing gets done. I already linked that to the couple KCSO deputies I know, but I don't expect anything of it.

I just wish instead of people trying to ban airsoft, we could just up the ante on punishment for crimes committed with airsoft guns. In many other countries, if you commit a crime with an airsoft gun (like robbing someone with it), it's treated as if you did it with a real firearm.

I thought the same went here. guess its a double standard. you have to be beautiful and prove you're retarded and you'll get away with anything. or maybe putting evidence on youtube will exempt them

It's that way in the US aswell. Robbing someone with a real gun, a fake gun or just saying "I have a gun in my pocket. Give me your money" It's all considered "armed robbery".

People driving around and shooting people with airsoft guns or paintball guns. Usually when caught get charged with several crimes. Felony Assualt usually being the most prominent.

Correct, but, at least in my area, stuff like this will just be dumped down to "warn them" because of the lack of money to actually charge the people who committed the crime.

What happened to the "make an example of 'em, to deter other dumbasses" days of law enforce?

LINKIN PARK SUCKS.

I'm with Matt.

More on topic, I had this happen to me about a month back. walking with friends, truck drives up, lights us up with some sort of GBB (Mac-11, probably), drives off. It's stupid, but people are stupid. Nothing's gonna stop that.

shazaam, I hate people.
