Deep Fire M4 Disassembly

Postby Prophet » Sat Jan 21, 2012 3:52 pm

Alright, well, I have a Deep Fire M4 that I have disassembled to where the only thing I need to remove is the gearbox itself from the lower receiver. I've removed every pin I can find that keeps the gearbox in place, but I can't seem to get the dang thing out. What I need it out for is to replace the selector switch which has somehow snapped right off. Also, just as a side note, there is the rear body pin that holds the upper and lower together on the real steel that looks like it goes through the gear box, but I can't seem to remove that no matter now much force I put on it. Anyways, if any of you are familiar with one of these, mind helping me out? I'll post pictures if I can find a camera that doesn't take shit pictures.

Thanks.
Please, I insist.

The rear body pin needs to come out. I don't remember having any trouble with my old Deepfire m4 taking it apart... It was the same as any average M4.

Did you remove the mag release? And as League said, that rear pin needs to be removed as well.

Yeah, I removed it as well. Alright, after a while of research, I found that League is right, but also that the pin takes huge amounts of force to get out on their newer models. Well, thanks for your help guys.

A punch or something that is just a bit smaller, and tap that shit out.

As far as pins I've removed all with no luck of disassembling receiver on Deepfire Samson Evolution, also removed rear that holds crane stock.
