no dice, this is not the issue. if a trigger post is broken the trigger lever is not able to engage the trolley because the trolley is able to move farther back than the trigger travels.

here is my understanding of the problem:
when firing in semi auto the gun works like normal (fires a single shot then cuts off) with the exception that the trigger lever has to be manualy pushed forward after every shot because it sticks in the rearward position. but functions normaly when in the full auto firing position.
here is my diagnosis:
the trigger lever is getting wedged by the trolley when the trolley kicks back into the starting position it might not even be going to full reset because its getting wedged by the trigger. another problem could be your trigger lever spring is broke or has some other problem. the reason you are only having this problem in semi auto, is because when in full auto the cutoff lever does not kick the trolley off the trigger lever and enable it to get wedged, or because the spring on the trolley helps pull the trigger lever back into the reset position.
