Having searched the internet, AP topics/ads, and various other shady corners of the internet and not wanting to start another: "Hurr Durr I'm a new snipor" topic:
My teammate is in the process of upgrading his L96 and for the life of me neither of us can find a tightbore barrel for under $100, which is silliness. Would anyone care to offer a place where one might find the elusive and economically convenient tightbore for this gun?

A good barrel will cost a good chunk of money. My current tight bore barrel cost more than the base gun it's in. Steel will be better than brass. 6.01 will be better than 6.03.
That being said, look for the Madbull Black Python APS2 barrel. Should be on the cheaper side, and an improvement over the stock barrel.

I love my 510mm barrel in my TSD M700. Of course it was made by one of the most respected and knowledgable bolt turners in the community...
