AGM MP001 Upgrades

Postby Sixxgun » Tue Apr 10, 2012 2:07 pm

I've been looking around and been finding mixed opinions about what parts you can use what I've heard so far is that it can take vsr-10 and APS-2 parts for upgrades I know trigger sear is Vsr-10 . My question is does anyone have more info to back this up (that they use vsr-10 and aps-2 parts)

I've only heard of vsr-10 parts in most of the well/jg sniper rifles

The hop up unit is proprietary, the barrel is too. The Cylinder is APS-2 compatible. And the trigger assembly is vsr-10 compatible.

I worked with mine for a long time till the mag release and hop up unit broke, then I gave up. Its not a good rifle to upgrade imho.

The AGM MP001 is a VSR 10. So pretty much any VSR 10 parts will work in the AGM MP001. When I upgraded mine I just used VSR 10 parts. The AGM MP001, JG BAR 10, WEll VSR 10, and TM VSR 10. Are all compatable to each other.

To anwser your question. The AGM MP001 does take VSR 10 parts as well as APS-2. If your looking on the internet to buy parts. The VSR 10 type parts are going to be more common.

I own a AGM MP001. I upgraded it untill the bolt broke.(A new bolt is like $80 for a good bolt, and a new AGM MP001 is like $60) It wasn't worth fixing.

I just need a trigger sear I was debating a angel customs trigger sear but if I go that route will just change whole trigger assembly but not right now... what. Piston spring does it take vsr or aps? Looking at getting different spring and spring

Piston & the rest of the cylinder assembly is APS.

As with all aftermarket parts, be prepared to say the S and F word at least a few times.

Lol no doubt I don't recommended anyone buying this version of a sniper rifle buy the newer models like mb03 or a Ted sd700 or bar-10 if you can find them
