Any Bbs heavier then 0.43G 6mm?

Postby Cyclops » Fri Nov 29, 2013 12:25 am

Just curious if there are any weights out there that are 6mm and heavier then the 0.43g? Been looking around google and all Bb's I have found is 0.12 to 0.43. Found a couple heavier ones but they were for the 8mm.....

if you got the money for it you can get 6mm ceramic ball bearings that weigh .66g ... most places wont let you run them for fear of damaging eye pro. on the plus side though, if you can manage to find the round you can reuse it. ceramic rounds are harder than steel and they do not deform from impacts.

Hello Cyclops!

Hope your doing well after your surgery.
In answer to your question Bioval used to make a .88 gram BB that has since been discontinued, however you might be able to find someone who has been hoarding some… :)
As to currently, I've seen some .46g if that would be any help, I'm not sure by whom or if they even still make them but I'll look around and see if I can find some.

Good news and bad...... The doctor was able to scrape out a lot of my arthritis but was unable to do the resurfacing the hip/leg bone!!! My bones are to brittle to do the work but was able to buy me some time from scrapping the arthritis away. So I should be able to hold off a few more years I hope before getting a total hip replacement!!! Doctor said at first I was going to be down for like 4 months (before the surgery). But after he went in and saw that he isn't able to do everything the recovery time is much much shorter. Should be up and running again by the 1st of the year. Doc says I need to use crutches for 2 weeks. BUT after 3 days I no longer use crutches but VERY limited to my movement and twisting. Tat will come in time. I really want to go out and play but I much rather have the surgery now during the slow season then middle of summer like they wanted to do.....

Says they are reusable so I'm gonna go with they are meant for precision rifle competitions and not general outdoor play.

You could try 0.36g Green Polyester bbs. Works better than .43s imo for bolts.

Not with my hop up unit. I ended up turning my hop up unit 100% off and my Bbs 0.40g are still rising at like 225 ft. My goal is to have a longer true straight shot. Thinking 0.43 or heavier would do the trick. The 0.36 start curving up at about 175 ft.
