Thoughts on this barrel for my TSD97 sniper?

Postby Cyclops » Sun Nov 02, 2014 12:42 pm

Currently I'm running a 500mm 6.01 (believe madbull). I'm thinking if I switch to a 6.03 550mm it will give more of an air cushion and extra length for better accuracyfor the longer shots. Question is I'm running the 4 way PDI hop up unit and I believe they can be used with ANY AEG barrel even tho it is a bolt action sniper. Current barrel I'm looking at..... http://www.evike.com/products/24391/
OR is there something better I should be considering? Just looking to play with an item or 2 to see what happens and if it helps my gun. I can hit a chest size target at about 300ft but I'd like to see hitting a gallon jug at 300ft. Soooo Thought I would change the barrel up first to see if that helps.

Don't need to R Hop it. Distance is great (300ft hitting chest size targets or hit a yard debri can at about 350ft). I just want a better grouping. Plus not sure if you can do a R hop on a PDI unit (not to familiar with R hop. Figure I would change one thing at a time and I'm thinking a barrel (6.03) would be a great start.
