TSD97 trigger sticking (L96)

Postby Cyclops » Tue Dec 16, 2014 4:24 am

So I finally got around to fixing (or trying to) my sniper gun after I broke it at my last game at Sniperzden (I know it's been awhile). Problem I'm having now is that every time I pull the trigger I have to push it back into place. Never had this issue before and tried looking up youtube videos but it's all about assemble and disassemble. Curious to what it might be. It's 3am kind of tred and not thinking clearly I guess but figured I would post on here and see if there is an easy fix. Thx in advance.

well, I don't know much about airsoft guns, but I had a similar problem with an AR one time. Thought it was the spring the return spring, turned out to be metal burners on part of the trigger assembly itself which was grinding on the return. So you might want to take it all apart and make sure that there's nothing sticking out to the side. My two cents.

Tear it apart and find the culprit. Could be a trigger return spring, could be engagement surfaces, could be a piece of cat hair. Tear down the trigger mechanism (spring guns are not hard to work on compared to AEG's).

This is why you're better off having a dog or three. Cats are evil.

Here's to retrievers! (Oh, to the OP before I derail your thread--yeah, take it apart again. It's probably the trigger return spring not put in correctly or broken)
