That's the one I use, it seems to work ok, but placement on your throat is critical.

Why not go with one like this with dual pickups and a backup ear jack?

Also comes in various models AND has the large heavy duty PTT....

IIRC, Midlands take the same mic's that fit in the Motorola's (single pin at least)
Or you could always change radios lol (I did that once, midland for motorola...now I run a pocket Ham)

All of my Midlands are 2 pin. Never seen a single pin Midland and it makes finding headsets and the like a phony pony.

but they're out of their mind if they actually think you wear it on your forehead.. *facepalm*
It's only single pickup though.

Otherwise I'm out of ideas.
