Baofeng programming

Postby ogrejager » Mon Jun 15, 2015 3:44 pm

Baofeng uv5r. I've got it programmed, say to frs 1, it hears just fine. When it goes to tx, though, the frs radio can't hear it. Given the tiny 5 to the right of frequency on the display, it seems like the tx probably has an offset. My problem is every menu option or way to put in an offset is turned off or set to zero.

Suggestions?

Nevermind. I didn't even look at the cheap old FRS radio. It was on a subchannel. Nothing to see here, move along.
