I did not know this, thank you Mobius for this wonderful piece of info. This will probably help my leaky mag problems with my WE.

keeping the mag full of gas, and this is not co2 its green gas/red gas/134a/ect.

correct me if im wrong but i see no reason as to how this would apply to co2 mags/guns.

I personally do not keep mags in the pistol when I am storing them. I once used to, until my friend got into it and pulled the trigger, causing a pop and a kick he wasn't quite read for.

Also, if by some crazy turn of events you have a catasrophic failure of a mag, and it explodes, you just loose a mag and some box, instead of a mag and a pistol.

Damn dude, necro much? If you are using a gas powered rifle, then yes. Don't just leave BB's in ANY mag for extended periods of time because doing so will eventually result in spring compression which leads to misfeeds and such.

Pay attention, it doesn't cost anything.

I have the KJW 1911 with co2 and propane mags.

Should I be storing my co2 magazine with some co2 pressure left? I usually empty it out before I put it away for a long period.

And obviously I should store my gas mags with a bit of gas still in it, right?

And has anyone thought of propane vs green gas? Because im thinking propane might keep a dry seal on it... whatever im making this more complicated...
