Rear sight on KWA 226

Postby Nark » Mon Apr 07, 2014 12:41 pm

So this has happened once before but it's happened again. I was firing my 226 and the rear sight popped out of the bracket that holds it in place. Anyone have this happen before and got a surefire way to fix it? Maybe a way to drill in and screw it into place? I will post pics when I get home from work.

Would blue loctite work even though there are no threads?

Loctite is basically an adhesive, so I don't see why not. I've used it on random parts with great success.

Loctite did not work at all. Sight popped off as soon as I shot it. Gonna try epoxy.

I had this issue too when I used to own one of these. Some Gorilla Glue solved the problem just fine. Make sure you read the directions of course.

Mine also does this. Don't really care because who aims in airsoft, let alone with your sidearm? But thanks for the quick fix tip.
