It's from WE. They got tired of building pieces of shit that looked like legit guns. So they bought some JB Weld and started creating pieces of shit that don't look like legit guns.

Rather than spending some time and effort doing things like building pressure vessels that don't double as frag grenades, they are trying to double down on the crazy by dropping shit nobody actually wants to buy into the market to distract people from how shitty their regular products are.

Buying a WE is like getting herpes from an _ugly_ prostitute.

Really, what I'd like to see is for WE to privately acknowledge that their in-house product design kinda blows goats from a quality and longevity perspective and put some time in fixing their earlier products and designs so that they put out stuff worth buying.

What I keep seeing is that instead they would rather rush a bunch of half-baked novelty products out to market than produce something that's actually worth using.

I know that P.T. Barnum was a fan of saying that no one ever went broke underestimating the American public. Seems like a bad way to run a business in what is, honestly, a pretty small niche market though. Sure. Everybody falls for the hype and purchases one WE product. But it's damn few folks that buy two. Compare that with G&G or KWA.
