Quick questions:

What is the FPS cap?
Is it an official sort of a thing (insurance/waivers) or more of an unofficial gathering?

Thanks!

its not very official but the guy says that its 415fps limit for aegs and 560fps for sniper rifles

NECRO-BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this place still operating? Are there any other Airsoft places in Southern Oregon?
My sword runs at 450 FPS, try to out run that! 35+ Sword/Knife Kills and counting.

NECRO-ANSWER!!!!!

Yeah, it's still running hard. Tons of fun every weekend. They are now playing on two Sundays a month, as well.

there is another field near Merlin, north of Grants Pass, and a more close-quarters oriented field in Central Point. You'll have to find out from somebody else what the addresses are, because I've been in Oklahoma and Texas for Army training since those two have been opened.

For more info on the Central Point field check out their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/rogue.tactical.airsoft

I have not heard of a field in Merlin that is currently open.

Gold hill has no insurance, business permits, or license. Trees have fallen and injured players, and damaged 2 cars. Play at your own risk.

Says one of the Admins/Promoters of the only other competing field in the area...
I don't disagree at all, however, and have not played there in quite a while.

Shaw, does ETA have a page here on AP?

P.S. I literally laughed out loud when I saw this thread had been posted in... Four years... That's a good one... :)

No question is a dumb one, from what i have seen is that this field is unregulated. They have a facebook page if you are interested. I have sent them several requests to post events here but i think that they are just backyard bb wars type of field. Last time i was in Southern Oregon (several months ago) they were open. There you may have better luck reaching them.
