Review of the WE M9A1 GBB pistol.

I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for. For the most part, this has held true with regards to airsoft guns and gear. But there have plenty of times where I came across guns that were way overpriced and others priced so low that my “red flagsâ€

WE/Socomm Gear mags are not the most reliable. I have two Socom Gear MEU's, and one came with a good mag, and one came with a mag that leaks no matter what I do to it (including replacing the fill valve). I also had a WE Wilson Combat and both mags that came in the box would leak randomly.

On the plus for the WE/SG mags, I have a couple without the extended base that the SG MEU mags have, and neither have leaked on me.

Both of the mags for my KWA KP45 Tactical have been perfect from day one, never a single leak.

I like the pix! That M9 has a threaded barrel, and that is awesome.

What happened to the Orange tip? How was it removed, the threaded barrels are a pain in the a$$ to remove the color from.

No need to roll eye. There are alot of ways to remove it. I was wondering what way you used.

Have you had it go full auto yet? Many of the WE M9s do, and I haven't found out why yet.

Might be the same reason my WE 1911 does. Something with the sear wearing down just enough that it won't lock back.

Just a guess.

Honestly, the only time it "farted" was after I cleaned it really good, but I actually overlubed it....

Farted twice, cleaned itself out, then ran like a champ after that. Gave itself an enema, i guess.

I've heard that this model has issues with the hop up slipping out of place. Have had any issues with this?
