They make good stuff. The few TAG pouches I have, haven't had any issues. I"m not a fan of how they attach, but thats personal taste.

What were you looking at from them?

They make an elevator for grenades. That's all I need to know.

TAG is good stuff. Durable, used by real professionals and very expensive.

Definitely high end stuff, but they very much have their own style, so you'll probably either love it or hate it.

Are you looking at their pouches or at their harnesses or what?

Had a vest back in 06 by them. Great gear and worth every dime I spent. Sadly not cheep, but you get exactly what you pay for.

These are the 2 chest rigs I was looking at.

Both links are the same rig.

TAG was good when it was first developed (developed by a SEAL member) and they are still good to this day. Prices are better on their items now.

These is the chest rig and harness I was looking at.

TAG is nice. It is heavier duty than some of the flimsier stuff (TT) but not as bulky as Blackhawk which is needlessly over-built.

As far as that rig, I would say it's OK. If you plan on using it with other items for a full loadout, those snaps on the meat of your back will dig in when you have a rucksack on, or even with an assault pack loaded fully and taken on long movements.

I would probably not get it based on those straps alone, but also the fact that it keeps everything so close, it's either a blessing if you're not looking at carrying very many mags and want a tight rig, or a curse if you plan on overloading the MOLLE on it with more storage space.

I would say the company is legit so you'll be getting quality kit, but the specific one you're looking at does not give you much room for growth if you want to carry additional pouches or add a back side (assault pack or hydration bladder). (/personal opinion)

I'm looking for a light weight rig for cqc or backyard batttles with my neighbor's and there kids. I never needed a rig till I got my new ghk pdw. My other gun was a mp5, and I kept all my mags in my dump pouch.(3 hi caps & 3 mid caps) So I really had no use for one. But now that I got some heavy as hell mags I don't think I can be doing that anymore.

Eagle makes something very similar to this, and I think you'd be better of with them. Buying real gear for backyard wars is kind of weird, and playing backyard wars when you're 31 is also kinda weird, why don't you come out and play with the rest of the airsoft community?

Well my neighbor's are 45 and 48. I also have two kids, 2 yrs and 6 months. I wanted to come out to some events for the past couple of years now, but for some reason I keep having kids. I'll be there for a few events this summer for sure. As for having a real steel rig, I have a colt m4a1 I could use it for when I go shooting.

This is a very good reason for having a real rig. Again, I think you're better off with Eagle here. Or perhaps a TT MAV.
