I am going to buy the new FNX-45 GBB and I am wondering if they have a mock version of the suppressor pictured above. Sorry for shitty photo quality, not my photo.

It's a copy of the OSP supressor made by ace 1 arms, it also extends the inner barrel. If you find a spot to buy one, let me know!

Thanks for the info! I found them on this site, which is kind of sketchy. Just type in "OSP"
http://www.boomarms.com/shop/showroom.cfm
There is also some more info and some videos about them here.

Also, here are their list of dealers in case you don't want to buy from that site, you will have to find another that sells them.

The real steel one seems easier to get to me than the replica, If I was home more I would get one, but even with a living will I have issues with keeping restricted items with my roommates, or I would own my SBR as well.

I did try to order one of these from a Hong Kong site today, we'll see. I payed through paypal so at least there is that security.

Yes. Supressors are considered NFA items and are subject to the rules of such.

I had heard that you could buy them without a stamp down to a certain decibel.

My only complaint about .45 is price, even though its cheaper still that a lot of others. But I'm used to shooting a ton, we went to the range a couple weeks ago and burnt close to 2500 rounds between 3 of us. It's different when I have to pay for it though, it just ends up me running out of ammo quicker than I'd like.

Don't believe so, I think anything that lowers sound from a firearm at all is a supressor, that's why you run into issues with foam filled bananas, they can easily be put on a firearm even if they would only last a few shots.

False. Anything that reduces the report of a firearm by any measurable amount (including 1db) is considered a sound suppressor (or silencer) and regulated by the BATFE.
