What Poncho To Get

Postby Santange11 » Sat Sep 26, 2015 11:04 pm

Hey guys,

The title says it. I am looking to get a tan or multicam poncho , but I don't know any good brands and am looking for recommendations.

Thank you,

For ponchos, Rothco is cheap and reliable.

shazaam Rothco.

There are no "brands".

Right now, you can pick up a M81 Woodland one for $20 or less.
I've seen Multicam ones for $50-$100.

never seen a "tan" one.

Rothco does make a tan and a cookie dough.

Your not gonna ask us questions about every single piece of gear you get are you?

That literally took me 15 seconds to find, Google images.

Look first, then if you can't find it, ask.

Sorry if this is bothersome. When l looked on Amazon and Google before I posted they were either glorified garbage bags or had reviews on both ends of the spectrum for what I could find in an appropriate color. I just wanted to see if that was it and take a risk or if someone knew about one I overlooked.

Make sure you are using "tan poncho military" in your search, or you'll end up with a bunch of garbage.

I hate giving all my secrets away, but if you're serious about wanting a quality poncho, check out Hazard 4.

When you realize you hate wearing it, you can sell it to me cheap! :D

As nice as the poncho looks, and boy does it look nice, it seems a little too pricey for my weekend airsoft adventures. I am leaning more towards the one suggested by Crossbow just because of price.

If you have to get a poncho, get a tan one and rattle-can the s**t out of it until it matches your environment.

Better answer: accept getting wet. Embrace the suck. But buy a waterproof pack cover for your ruck, and pack your spare socks and undies in ziplocks. Unless you are full of awesome-sauce. Then you can vacuum-seal them in packs of one set of socks, one t-shirt, and one pair of UnderArmour boxer-briefs per baggie. And if you aren't running UA Boxer Briefs, you're missing out.
