shaft changing on an AEG

Postby orange hat » Tue Jan 01, 2013 10:31 am

I have recently upgraded the motor in my m4, and i was going to put my old motor in another gun but, the other gun takes short motors. Is there any way I can switch the shafts to convert one to short and one to long type?

To go from Short to Long you will have to take the entire armature out of each motor, They most likely need to be the same brand of motor also, so the windings and brushes are located correctly. To go from a long to short just measure and cut, however this is irreversible.
