Fitting ADE 12" Quad Rail to Madbull Noveske

Postby Nark » Thu Jan 23, 2014 10:13 am

So I don't know where this thread would go but I'm guessing here since I want to put a real steel rail on my airsoft gun. I have a Madbull Noveske and wish to put this rail on it. Anyone know if it's possible and/or how to do it?

Hmm... Hard to tell without handling it and removing the rail. I'm sure someone will post that knows... ask AONW.

You'll for sure need a delta ring to attach that rail, I'm unsure as to weather or not an airsoft one would work.

Thank you,

That rail doesn't use a delta ring.

http://www.rakuten.com/prod/ar-15-10-in ... 43075.html Looking at that link it looks like it comes with the barrel nut. Assuming that the body dimensions are the same as RS the next hurdle would be the thread for the barrel nut. Some of them...like my G&P magpul body are threaded Imperial (over seas dimensions), so to put a DD Omega X rail I had to rethread the upper. I use a tread die, made by madbull, to thread it to normal. My guess is that, since the upper is made by madbull it is threaded normal.

Long story short is my best guess is that it would fit fine. For 45.00 and free shipping it may be worth the gamble.
If you upper is imperial thread and you need to rethread it you can borrow mine.

As Mindspeed said, install should be simple.

Remove the flash hider.

Remove the front sight post on your carbine. This is likely two pins across the base of the front sight post, as well as an allen screw underneath the sling swivel.

Remove the screws on the original RIS. Slide the rail off. Loosen the old barrel nut and remove. Don't drop the gun since the barrel is not attached.

On the new rail, you'll hope that it is AEG spec, since real-spec threads don't always line up perfectly on airsoft guns (though sometimes they do). It varies based on brand and depth of the grooves, etc. There shouldn't be anything complex with the new rail as far as installation.

Attach new rail. Add all the expensive pieces on the outside to match photo.

I built an SPR which is the precursor to the kind of gun you are looking into. Now based on the noveske rifle you have you are going to likely to have to remove the gas block and potentially get a new outer barrel. You may also need a d-ring to fit it onto your rifle. My suggestion is to get a Front end kit for your rifle which would replace the handguard, outer barrel, and inner barrel (you will have to buy this separate). This would allow you to easily get the look you are going for plus you would get a longer inner barrel which means slightly better accuracy and you would have a cqb front end to put on for indoor games. Here are some suggestions.

If you want that multicam color try a hydro dipping kit.
Good luck with your build!

I don't think you could call that an SPR. It's standard carbine length with a suppresor and ACOG w/ red dot.

LWRC makes a 14.7" SPR.
Special Purpose Rifle.
I don't think it has a required barrel length.

Well luckily Madbull/Socomgear AEGs are manufactured to RS specs. This rail screwed on nice and tight and pretty easily. Moved the gas block forward till I get some MBUS for it.
