First attempt at painting an AEG

Postby Typhon » Tue Nov 25, 2014 10:31 am

I managed to get a Kiranex Aftermath M4 pretty cheap on craigslist. The guy who had it was storing it outside in a gym bag in the rain. *facepalm* Luckily, the internals were not damaged and it functioned fine, but the exterior was in pretty bad shape. So, I decided to give in a spray job.

Nicely done! I would recommend getting a new AEG as soon as you can though. Aftermath are LPAEG IIRC and aren't very good quality. Spend a bit of money and get a good quality AEG soon and you won't regret it.

Thank you. I'm happy with it, especially as it was my first time attempting it. Not an inexperienced painter, just inexperienced with painting guns.

I have a G&G CM16 Raider that is the one I actually play with at the arena. I'll eventually get a SCAR, but right now, I'm looking for a solid sidearm. Any suggestions? I was considering the KWA ATP aka the "Not-Glock"

ahh so this was a project gun to paint on. Good strategy. I run a KWA 226 and love it. Handle them before hand. I had the ATP but definitely prefer my 226.

if you want to play indoor games and or night games you better have a light rail.

Your first choice is a good one, I also like the HK 40 compact.
