As for the graphics, Hillbilly uses photoshop.

I hand coded the site in Dreamweaver and wrote my own XHTML and CSS. The javascript features are part of the jquery library. I've been bored at work lately and needed a project that I could build in order to flex my front end coding skills.

Dreamweaver has some built-in functionality to work with javascript, but I don't use it. I think it's best to use collections and libraries that already exist, such as . People already have a ton of useful components, you just gotta piece them together and tweak them to get what you want out of them.
