Doesn't the CIRAS come fully equipped?
That's what you said.

$85.00 as shown.
I challenge you to find a fully equipped CIRAS for even close to that price.

Krukspec is for real.

it does come fullt equipped as seen in the krukspec pictures. i chose to change the pouches to open top ones (mine did not have open top pouches) becuase that is what i prefer. overall i am happy with the vest.

The vest shown for 85 looks very well built and tight fitting (wich is a big plus for me seeing as i hate running around with an ill fitting vest), looks like it could carry a hell of alot of shit to, i like what i see. As for the first one, it is a bit big for me, but if your in need of space than it looks good. I got my tac vest from GI surplus for 50 bucks and i love it, but i only carry a few mags.

It is $65.00 plus the xoom money transfer fees (which would be about $35.00 maybe) so if you just get one it's about $175.00 total, shipped. Still not bad. I should have mine in the next 2 weeks and then I'll post a review.

Thought I'd jump in on this one. Check this out: http://www.aegarms.com/new_arrivals.php?page=1

I can't answer for any quality or shipping issues, but I think these might be the cheapest C.I.R.A.S. rip offs I've seen.

Kevin, a.k.a.- Book

P.S. Maybe I'll see some of you out at A.B.T.

Yes...but this is a thread about KRUKSPEC's new armor...not cheap rip-off CIRAS.

Thank you for sharing, though.

Ya'll pack too much equipment on you, geez.

I use the old Vietnam load bearing vest (sometimes just the belt).

1) That isn't an "old Vietnam load bearing vest". It's not a vest and it's not from Vietnam.

2 )What you're saying has nothing to do with Krukspec

3) Modern gear exists for a reason, we've advanced our technology since Vietnam.

4) Thats such a bad replica of the CIRAS, it shouldn't even be called that.

There isn't a single piece there that would have been around in Vietnam, the pouches they used then weren't nylon, they were all canvas. The shoulder straps shown there are at least from the 80's and on, the ones there are much more comfortable then the ones from Vietnam. That belt is also the new style web belt, the ones from Vietnam had metal clasps and, again, canvas not nylon.

Secondly, what you posted is commonly referred to as "LBE" or Load-Bearing Equipment. "LBV" (Load-Bearing Vest) is that shitty first-gen vest that are commonly found for $10 or less at any number of surplus stores.

Modern CIRAS-style vests are the shit, offering much better load-balancing. I can run around with 30lb of weight on me in a CIRAS and not feel it since it's spread pretty evenly around my entire body, try that with LBE and you'll feel it along your shoulders and in your hips pretty quick. I won't go into the life-saving features afforded by a CIRAS over an LBE since they don't matter, this being airsoft and all.

Please do research before opening your mouth (or rather, stretching your typing fingers).
