wow, thats funny.... i recall troy comming back from the shot show in 2006, after haveing EXTESIVE conversations with kumi herself.....infact i recall him saying to me that he had a coversation where he said...."Hell you should just make a V2 Drop in mechbox....."

2 years later and it looks like kumi took carful consideration to what troy had to say.....and now we have the " revolution"

thanks troy.

anyways, it looks like a solid idea to me. i like the burst feature, hopefully we can get one that actually works, and i can make a true M16A2. the only hesitation i have is the already mentioned sensitivity to moisture. like nocte, i work with electronics all day and i know how easily they can be affected by liquid. if the assembly is properly sealed though, this looks like its going to be a badass mechbox.

I used the PTW I had in the worst of conditions rain or shine, never had a problem with my electronics.

Knuckles;
I know it's a hard one to answer but any est. on a price range for this? Did SYSTEMA give you any idea?

Kudos to systema for engineering new improved designs instead of mooching off Marui's R&D.

but gosh darn it, why only for V2?

Its the most common gearbox. MP5, M4/M16, G3 . . . . more burst-fire weapons there, than in Version 3 series guns.

Systema has not finalized a price yet. THe CEO doesn't know the price so it will still be a while.

Chrstian, Let us know what you think about it. Frankly I belive that peopel will value your opinion of it better than what I have to say about it. Unbiased.

As far as "Systema USA" that is Wallace Lau. He has been told not to imply he is with Systema, Oh well. nothing I can do aout it but tell the people with power of attorney in the US that he is doing it again.

when people start talking about SYSTEMA....i pretty much blank it out. its all second hand info, that they really cant elaborate on, because they dont have the correct contacts or accurate information.

Well guys, that's great but Wallace from zshot is NOT a dumbass. He's a licensed distributor of SYSTEMA products in the United States. Can we knock off the pissing contest and just be excited about the new product?

Wow, that was a very interesting video. With that little piston on the top it looks like you'd still have all of the compression as before.
SYSTEMA, COUPLE THIS WITH THE REVOLUTION! You will go far(ther)!
The only foreseeable problem would be the fact that dirt and stuff could get inside and screw you over. Maybe...
Looks sweet!

"Blowback" on an AEG is an inane offering marketed to the teenage crowd. Realistically all it's going to do for you is provide more failure points, more moving parts to break, more maintenance and more opportunity for you to introduce foreign bodies into your gearbox.

Troy, thanks for your support and information.
