Spartan releases new Classic Army AEGs

Postby Knuckles » Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:59 am

The guys over at Spartan have released their new CA SCAR-H and SA58 for the Proline models, and an MP5 (B&T) and M15A4 Sportline. This is going to be some good stuff. Ihave persoanlly been waiting for the release of the SA for some time now. I know I am not alone, as well. Those Damn British will want to get their tea-soaked fingers all over these bad-boys. 5RAC and SA58s would be a fearsome sight to see.

Airsoft Pacific is working hard to bring you a review of one of these exciting new products, so stay tuned.

In the meantime you can contact any one of our local CA distributors like Airsoft Warrior or Warthers Originals to get set up with an order.

It would be better if it were VFC.

Naw, I just have a cold. What I should have said was this:
I think the externals would have been of higher quality if the gun were made by VFC. Although this means that the internal quality would have been somewhat substandard to CA.

I'd rather have a good body and crappy internals than bad body and nice innards. Beauty is skin deep for VFC, but it is easily fixed.

if you think the externals on the SA58 are crap you have clearly not handled one.

Any clue on when the rest of the sportsline series will be released?

CA seems to be losing its reign on quality control IMO - I am seeing alot of their guns going down right and left locally. Broken metal bodies, ground up internals, parts falling off...

Odd.

What models/rifles did you notice this happening to?

Alot of the CQB models - 100% of the failures are in the M4 series of guns.
I heard of a metal body breaking in 2 halves as a result from a 1 foot drop onto the barrel in dirt, quite a few gear losses and internals failures etc.
I see them here at Rogue Military coming in and getting repaired by the tech and he tells me of the problems they are having.
I'll stick to my cheap assed Chinee models - I haven't had a single failure in any of them so far lol

There was a short run of poor gears in the CA M15s.

After we got through a few of them, they haven't had any abnormal issues.

The Chinese guns work fine until you try and put aftermarket parts into them. They're great stock, but they are out of spec with a lot of the upgrade parts.

The problem with some of the gearsets was that there was a number of them that skipped the hardening process, but they are aware of it and are taking steps to correct it and get replacement parts available for when they come in for repairs, just have your dealer contact Spartan and they can take care of it.

AONW always got replacements from Spartan when they went down. CA guns have great dealer support, if you're getting through someone that has a line to Spartan
