The long coveted airsoft version of the M240 General Purpose Machine Gun is now available. This 7.62mm caliber machine gun was developed in Belgium in the 1950’s and has since been adopted as the standard GPMG by over 20 countries. Redesignated the M240 by the US military, it has replaced the venerable but unreliable M60 as the standard infantry belt fed machine gun for both the US Army and the US Marines. Its effectiveness in providing support firepower and superior reliability under combat conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan has made the M240 a very popular and respected weapon among all Marine and Army infantrymen.

The TGS M240 is a precision made CNC bodied airsoft recreation. The fit and finish are impeccable. Despite being durably built, it weighs the same or less than a Classic Army M249 which makes this a very practical field carry weapon also. It is a perfect weapon for offensive operations, stronghold defense, opponent intimidation (“You call that M249 a machine gun? I’ll show you a machine gun...â€

Yes...yes. Now I want a version that is 900$-1000$ cheaper...although this is probably worth the 1,400$

We had one in at the shop, it's definitely impressive to behold. It feels too light, though, and only chrono's at 330 out of the box. The feed system is good, but I'm not a huge fan of the cardboard box mag, although it is true to the real world ammo box.

Don't forget, the Air Force uses them, too! (Bravos, not Golfs) I've got to fire them (the real deal) a couple times. They definitely put out some serious firepower, but best for a mounted or fixed position - not a patrol weapon.

I need more disposable income. I need to have 1600 that I don't have anything better to do with.

My dog wouldn't know what to do with a duck if she caught it, but she's cute. And hates Mexicans. +1!
