The booth I was helping with at Shot Show had one of the AEG rifles at it, and when it got around that it was there, we had everyone from a Shotgun News writer to a DOD rep come to look at it and take pictures. Kind of thought it was funny that they had to take pictures of the airsoft version since a real one has yet to be closely examined by the government, makes me wonder if Redwolf got a special order after that, LOL!

You're talking about the Type 97 AEG and not the gas operated sniper, right?

I understood from the guys at RS that it was a semi automatic gas oprated super-rifle...like a GBB from hell.

I was making fun of the guy because if its gas-powered then its obviously semi-auto. Have you ever seen a gas-powered bolt action sniper?
