You should look at the First Person Shooter one. It has mad comments. It's the only one that has more than us, and it's got a LOT more. It's a decent vid too. Honestly it was close to an idea that we had talked about, but we decided it would be too overdone. Our first thought was, "get a bunch of awesome CQC footage," but we just really wanted to try and re-create a scene from our favorite flick.

i think the FPS one would be MUCH better if it were actually an advertisement instead of just a cool looking video. have it so he peeks around a corner and sees a bunch of guys, but knows he cant kill them. ducks back, brings up an FPS style "buy" menu like in counter-strike that look like the redwolf menus and "buys" an M203, and it appears on his gun then he leans around the corner and shoots the guys.

as it is now it just sort of goes "OMG LOOK THIS IS SO COOL oh yeah and redwolf too i guess."

I have gone through the comment pages of your video and have made 40+ thumbs up, so possibly if others do the same your video would be put over the top.

I haven't seen that other video...

I bet its so vague so they can give more props to who they like the best. But thats just a guess. I think yours does a great job of showing how cool redwolf is rather than trying to say how cool airsoft is. Anybody getting a product from redwolf already knows how cool airsoft is.

The announcement should come out today, but Redwolf is currently out of the office because of a tropical storm. Meh, I'm expecting delays.

commented! what if there are negative comments on another video? like taking the ranting about how the FPS vid wasn't really tied into red wolf that much?

Haha sabotage time... I didn't like that FPS vid too much. Someone said it did nothing to show how Redwolf is cool. I agree with that.

Please don't leave negative comments on other vids, unless you are specifically offering real legitimate feedback.

This whole thing really boils down to a popularity contest. The FPS video has a very large Polish Airsoft website behind it, and mine happens to have a very large American Airsoft website behind it. To some, this may seem unfair, but for Redwolf this just means MORE exposure. This idea was genius, they're getting advertised before they even determine a winner.

The results are in. Unfortunately, we didn't make it, but we pretty much had that figured out. To see the video contest results, check here.

Thanks everybody for your support, we appreciate it. We had tons of fun putting this together, and if RW has another contest we're excited about entering again. Hopefully next time they'll choose a more clear-cut voting method.

Wow, what a rip. Too bad guys, I thought your video was best by far. Unfortunately yours didn't get as much publicity. That, and the viewers that have never seen the Boondock Saints would have no idea what was going on.
