CQC6 Video: Part 2 Released

Postby Matt » Sun Dec 14, 2008 11:57 am

You've all been waiting forever, but the second installment of videos from CQC6 back in July of 2007 has been released. Check out the video over here or to view in high quality mode go to YouTube and click "view in high quality" under the video screen. I highly recommend viewing in HQ mode, it's amazing.

A special thanks goes out to Wes "Bigfoot" Skotko for reviving this project by offering to edit it, he did an amazing job. Also, thanks goes out to Michael "Chapped" Burns for pulling together a really killer map sequence for the opening credits. I put together the motion graphics in the title sequence. Of course, original videographers on the project were Wes Fisher, Stephen Gerard, and myself. Finally, this event would not be possible had it not been for the hard work put in by Bill Youngblood and Adam Reese of Black Sierra Productions.

I hope this gets everybody excited for the upcoming BSP Challenge on January 24-25. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I can also say that we have first round editing finished for Part3, which should be released before Christmas.

As always, your feedback is welcome. Please check it out, pass it around, and let us know what you think. Thanks!

That's good stuff guys.

Thanks for the hard work on this video project. I know there was a TON of media to sift through.

I hope everyone likes it. I spent hours in the editing room at Ai each day for weeks (my mid-term grades reflect that). Mike spent 18 hours alone on his 30 seconds. All in all it was a group effort Between Matt, Mike and I and the final results show it.

WOOT!

Cool. I never thought another CQC6 video would be released.

This begs the question if there is a third installment on the way?
