Server move.

Yesterday (July 30th) we moved the sever to a new machine. I am sure some of you have noticed a speed increase.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

I would like to know how many of you actually noticed the speed increase.

I did notice a slight increase from the comp here at work. Didn't seem different from my home comp this morning though.

I haven't notice a significant change, but I'm on satellite internet so that may be the reason.

While better than dialup, doesn't satellite internet suck?

Have you looked into wireless through a cell company, Ivan? I've been thinking about switching to that.

It even makes me double post some times.

Ditto on the no notable difference, too.

Satellite is more expensive, slower, and has a lower bandwidth limit that cable.
I'll look into the cell thing.
There is a cell tower about 300ft behind our house so that could work out very nicely.
