That's a production model right there. Hopefully they'll be available after the SHOT Show.

This is a warning to the general airsoft public, but to those of you who know about being a machine gunner and still do it, my hat is off to you

I've held the real thing, and if this is anywhere near the actual weight of it I would steer clear of this. Think about it. It weights considerably more then the 249 series and has just about the same performance as an m4. Sure there is the whole support weapons are given more benefits thing, but I have been there and done it with a saw. Trust me when I say this, the machine gunner position in airsoft is over rated, and even thou it would be cool to have it is just about as useful as having a M82 for a marksman role. It is very difficult to shoulder this weapon from a standing position due to the massive weight of the barrel alone, with the solid metal bipod and frame included into that weight you start to understand how massive the M240 is.

Then again it could be this is all made of some cheap aluminum and then all of my arguments would be invalid. my 2 cents

Heavier the better when it comes to support weapons. My M60 was 16 lbs. :)

In case you haven't seen it already, here are the specs AONW listed:

$750

CNC Construction
CNC Lower RAS Unit
QD Front Barrel Assembly
...QD Stock Assembly
Electric Box Magazine
Steel Bipod
Quick Change Spring System
8mm Bearing Gearbox
Steal Torque Gear Set
Aluminum Cylinder
Poly Carb Piston with 1/2 Tooth Steal Rack
High Torque Short Type Motor
Low Resistant Wiring with MOSFET

I'm liking the internal build and CNC... but not really the price.
For every action (Bang) there is an equal and opposite reaction (HIT!)

The Echo1 guy on Facebook mentioned in his comments that the gun will be shooting at around 510 with an M130. Dunno if he was trolling or not, but thought I'd throw that up here.

$700 is nothing. Hell, mostly ABS TOP m60s back in the day were $1000.

Looks like I might need an upgrade. Might have to check this one out once I get home.
And as for the price I do not think it is to bad considering the alternative is 1500 :D
