It worked great for RBeran and his DMR. Most airsoft sniper rifles have their mounts as close, if not closer, together.

I would have to say, wait for the test on a sniper rifle before you judge if it can or can't be used. RBeran didn't say anything like "it barely adjusted out long enough to fit" for the DMR, so I would assume a sniper rifle would be no problem as well.

This may be a bit late but I see a lot of questions wondering if the sling is expandable for larger weapons (long rifles). The IAS can expand to have 26" of space between the two hook points.
