Highlander Stocks Classic Army

Postby Matt » Fri Jun 02, 2006 11:54 am

http://www.airsoftpacific.com/images/news/highlander.jpgI got an update from Chris over at Highlander (Jantzen Beach Supercenter) about some new items they have in stock, this is good news for the local retail scene:

Highlander is now an official Classic Army distributor. We are looking to cater to the high end customer and will order any gun or accessories you need. We currently have in stock both new releases which are the Aug A1 and the SAR Offizier M41 FS. We also have almost every other gun they offer available in stock or are waiting for it in our next order. So come check us out at the Jantzen Beach Supercenter or give us a call at 503-283-5377.

For those who don't know, Highlander is at 1409 N Jantzen Beach Dr in Portland, OR 97217 (in the Mall).

This place was over priced, Jesse has been trying hard to convert to a top notch airsoft retailer.

Frankly, $10 is too much for a can of green gas. Especially when you can get a can of propane with 3x as much actual gas for $2.50 at a grocery store.

They should be selling the propane adapters instead.

Gas Prices

Postby Wzupthen » Mon Jun 05, 2006 11:51 am

I don't know who quoted the price of $20 but we normally sell the gas for $15 a can and to regulars it is $10. Also we will hopefully be getting the adapters in soon :D

I bought a CA M15A4 Tatical Carbine there. They gave me $30 off the tag price and a CA hat. Nice guys. They are really trying to get rid of their crap products and provide Airsoft found online at their location.

I went into the store on Sunday, I would have to say that I was impressed with the customer service at the Jantzen beach branch. The man behing the counter was extremely helpful and courtious which in my mind is half the sale.
I didn't think the prices were to bad considering some of the prices I have seen on the net or other stores, plus the gun is onsite.

Yeah, he's Shogun on the boards here and I always stop in to see what's up when I'm in that little mall thing. He's always good for a conversation provided there aren't actaul paying customers there. :)
