Noobs

Postby infantryssg » Tue Jan 15, 2008 4:06 pm

Dont agree with this post for a couple reasons.

1) Even if someone is new to the sport we should not single out or make them feel inferior. I know with me being a Staff Sergeant in the army, I dont make fun of the new privates who come in, I coach and mentor them into a cohesive fighting man or woman.....Not really women becuase im Infantry and we dont have female soldiers, but none the less this is my job as a leader, and as a seasoned veteran.

I take the same approach to my team, the Fort Riley Airsoft Team, the only all Army Airsoft team in the country. I treat all soldiers the same even though i outrank most of my teammates by over 5 pay grades. I even let the new people lead on their first time out, give them a baptisim by fire so to say.

Now if someone falls on their tool saying something stupid or lieing about something thats on them, but with us once you lose you integrity we dont give you a second chance, we just tell you to get the hell out of here and your not welcome anymore. And we dont continue to argue with the person.

So in closing lets try to be mentors insted of acting like we are superior airsoft players

Thanks,
Staff Sergeant Bradley Crawford
US Army Infantry
Fort Riley Airsoft Team President

Not trying to be a peepee, but most of your guys are E1s (1+5=6)?

Dont forget the difference between Spec-4 and corporal. thats two grades at the E-4 position. But yes id say 30 to 40 percent are E2-E3.

A "sniper" in airsoft is not a guy who can shoot you from 300 yds in the face, "sniper" is just another word for "sneaky bastard that you didnt see when you walkied right by him".

Don't make a "what gun is best" thread. Or a "what is good?" thread.

stickies please.Links on first post.

I've done it, countless others have done it.
It ends here.
The worst video game idea ever is boxing on a touch screen.
