How much are you willing to pay for BBs?

Postby Braddock » Fri Oct 13, 2006 10:39 am

Just wondering if people would pay $20 for a 5000 round bag of .20 BBs

These are High Grade, precision BBs, made by the same manufacturer as Airsoft Elite

There are enough outlets for getting mid-high grade bb's for $12- $15. If we are talking about .2s for an AEG, its not worth it. For high grade .25 or .23 or heaver, for a DM rifle or Sniper rifle, it is worth spending more money. That's my opinion. I get 5000 .2 for $12 from AirSplat, and have had no problems killin fools with those.

Most bags of AE hold 4000rds and run $11-12 a bag. If it were .23 or .25 I would pay that price as there is some cost savings.

Well shit - I've been buying bags of 5000 bbs for $20 for months. I voted yes, but I suppose I won't be spending that much anymore.

Yes, if I was running low at a op or skirmish, otherwise I'd wait to buy them online most likely.

Depends on the shipping. I really doubt a 2.5 pound package would cost over $8 to ship from CA, if it was sent UPS Ground. The difference is, can you wait that long?

When I need bbs in a hurry (I usually wait until I'm out and have a game in 2 days) I'll go pick them up at the shop for $20/5000 - but I don't for a second think that I'm getting the same deal as if I had ordered them. I'm paying for the convenience to pick them up on my lunch break the day before a game.

Airsplat like most other US retailers have a default shipping charge for small items. Unfortunately it is around 8-10 dollars.

Yes, but, as most yes voters said, only if I'm in a pinch and need some bb's quick.
