That is fine. But any asshatness on our boards will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with swiflty.

Don't forget that Vietnam Era tiger stripe is not as dark as the Tiger Stripe that Jason/Spyguy wore. Check out http://Mooremilitaria.com - he has 'the right stuff'.

boards?

i dont want to have to go thruogh all that to play a veit nam game. i dont have to "join" someones elses "boards" when i want to go to battlesims recondo or any of their other reinactment events.

i thought you had a "all inclusive " group going here, but if you feel that i am not right for your "community" hey thats kewl too, i just offerd to play thats all. its not like i wont get plenty of trigger time with my M14.

as for asshatery being delt with swiftly, i have read plenty of that in the privious posts ( not me mind you)... did ya deal with them too?? cause i dont see it.

edit: thx alex...appereciate that. might not use it though after that last post.

Check this Kabar. Renegade is trying to put together an accurate group for vietnam. That takes some organization. You cant do vietnam as 'show up and shoot'. The uniforms have to be 'right', the rifles have to be 'right'. To reach that end, he has set up a private forum at airsoftrecon.org - sure, you dont have to go and join another board to go to one of battlesim's events. But if you want to go there with Renegade as a member of his 101st ABN (Vietnam) organization . . . . then you need to pay attention to whats happening.

Is it perfect? No. No organization is perfect. They all have their little flaws. Am I an asshat? shazaam yeah. Am I doing the 101st ABN (vietnam) thing with Renegade? Yeah. Is it perfect? No - but its better than just getting a bunch of guys with gear together and saying 'yeah, we're 101st ABN, we represent the cream of the crop from the North West . . . . yeah, thats modern tiger stripe and an M16A2 . . . . . ' and having every person who has a clue start shaking their head and realizing that we're totally upsidedown up.

;) yeah.

He warned me (off the boards) not to be an asshat - the 101st ABN (vietnam) boards are in someone else's back yard ;) Dont worry about being singled out. :-D Whats the worst that can happen? Renegade gets us dropped in 50km behind enemy lines, surrounded by Charles, while low on ammo? Shit . . . . then we're all being singled out :-D

Tempting to do, no I was not singling you out Morgan, I was just stating what I felt. I have so much other stuff on our boards to deal with the last thing I need is someone being a tool on there. I am sorry If I seemed to have point the "ur an asshat" finger at you. I'm just trying to make the boards a lil' easier to deal with.

You are welcome to Join. But I would like you to look around at some era TS. Thank you.

And that happens to be one of the reasons why we're putting so much energy into putting together our WWII and Vietnam programs - so we can head up there to do battle, and they can come down here (see how that works? ;))

Can we use shotguns? Usually there was 1 M870 select issued per squad in Vietnam. I have a Tanaka M870 18 inch gas shotgun. Its not wood stock, although I might be able to get one.
