stahlhelm

Postby weasle8877 » Sat Dec 04, 2010 7:58 pm

I found a spanish stahlhelm that I'm considering buying for my kinda half-ass german WWII impression. I did however have some questions about it for those who know a thing or two about all the stahlhelms. My main question concerns the webbing which is unlike the other spanish stahlhelms I've seen, this leads me to believe that it is post war, and that the shell may be of a different shape and not be able to acept a normal helmet cover.

Yes that is a post war liner on a Z42 , they where a little smaller than the German helmets but the covers do fit with no problem .
It's in great shape , good find.
