WWII MK2 kill notches?

Postby Arbiter » Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:39 am

Hey guys I recently got a USN MK2 fighting knife from WWII, and theres this intriguing notch in the fabric of the sheath, quite evident that it is deliberate. I know a bit about kill notching on rifles and pistols but wasn't quite sure if the same was done for knives. I researched it a bit and asked around but found nothing of help other than to look for blood pitting on the blade.. which I'm not sure what exactly that would look like. So I figured I would ask around here.. see if anyone knows anything. Thanks! :D
"Ah you kids are all the same these days.. All you want is a gun you saw on Modern Warfare 2... Noobs.. Everyone knows Modern Warfare 1 was wayyy cooler! Besides They had the g36 in there!!"
