Airsoft Event, Vietnam Era

OPERATION: MOUNTAIN STORM

DATES: September 10-11, 2011

LOCATION: Leavenworth WA (FIREBASE TERESA)

MISSION: Recon and location of a hidden NVA base camp somewhere in the valley AO. Recon of the hill area for possible enemy fighting positions.

SUITABLE IMPRESSIONS, US FORCES: US Army infantry, LRRP/LRP/Ranger. OD fatigues, Tiger Stripe, or ERDL. NO MODERN STUFF.

WEAPONS, US FORCES: M-16 and variants.

SUITABLE IMPRESSIONS, VC or NVA: Green or tan uniform, black pajamas.

WEAPONS, VC OR NVA: AK-47, AKS, etc...

Loaner uniforms and weapons available, just ask!

We will have the usual Saturday night BBQ. Saturday C-Ration lunch in the field. "Best impression" contest, voted on by all. New coordinates contest!

New bunkers, jungle trails, and NVA base camp are being constructed for this event! The Forward Operation Base has been upgraded to a Fire Support Base.

COST: $20 each

where is leavenworth wa? my team and i may be interested if it is worth the drive from Albany. that depends on numbers... and i run a scar andprefer not to reduce back down to my m4 if possible??

Is this a "close-enough" mil-sim event to get the largest possible audience?

I'm going to look at my schedule. I've got the loadout being worked on already.
