Friend of mine bought a tanaka k98 from WW2guns. He waited five months for it to arrive, thinking it was just because he used super slow surface mail. After five months he complained to paypal. I don't know what paypal does in these instances, but in a week it was in his hands. I'd say if you can find what you're looking for anywhere else, don't buy from them.

Maybe before you buy from them I'd e-mail them to make sure it's in stock, just to make sure that that won't be a problem. If you think it's worth the risk, take the leap.
Also, which MG42 if you don't mind my asking?

It looks pretty good. I'm really tempted to drop this money into it someday really soon. It would be perfect for my WWII german impression.

I wouldn't get that version. While the blowback is nice the mag only holds 250rds which wouldn't be an issue but its an internal mag that takes a while to pull out, reload and put back in.

I would recommend looking into these guys, looks like the most promising one in a while.

So would you say arnie's is more reliable than ww2guns? Ever heard any negative opinions about them?

Is WWII airsoft dead in the northwest?
Or for that matter, was it ever alive?

WW2 airsoft is(was?) very big up north near Seattle. Is BattleSim still around?

Also, The Shoei MG42 is one of the best models out there. However it is External Air, but the recoil and noise are quite awesome. On top of that 2k price you are looking at $200-$300 more to build an air rig depending which way you go.
