Shown above are the various chapters of the Rushing Russians, from left to right: OSN-Rus (East Coast), KBAB (Portland, OR), RR-Command / RR-COM (Seattle, WA), Bone Squad (various) and Spetsgruppa Alfa (Southern CA).

Здравствуйте, Кузен!

Chello, Cousins! The Rushing Russians are a military simulation group aimed at simulating the Russian Federation military forces. The command element is located around the Seattle, Washington area, and we (KBAB) are a new chapter based around the Portland area.

RR STANDING ORDERS
    1. давай!
    2. Russians always call their hits!
    3. Russians use Kalishnakovs (or VSS, SVD, PKM, PPSH etc...)
    4. Russians wear Russian camo.
    5. Russians whose loyalty, good spirit and alcohol tolerance prove them worthy will be asked to wear the blue and white striped Telnyashka.
    6. Russians must do enough PT to be able to rush at all times.

RR KBAB CHAIN OF COMMAND
There is no chain of command, only levels of involvement. The Portland chapter's chain of command is loosely based on the RR-COM's in Seattle, with these main ranks:
1.) Officer: (active, contributes to training, hosting events and leading on the field. Actively helps RR-KBAB as well as RR-COM to make games such as MilSimWest's games run smoothly, and reps often)
2.) NCO (Sergeant): (Active, contributes, leads on the field)
3.) Soldat: (playing member of RR KBAB)
4.) Recruit: (Wants to join, working on getting complete kit and gaining the Russian mindset)
***RR-KBAB takes all orders from RR-COM in Seattle

UNIFORM STANDARDS
The only requirements to rep RR KBAB are an authentic (as possible) Russian uniform, Russian gear and Russian weapon. It is 100% MilSim to see 10 different Russian soldiers in 10 different collections of camouflages, weaponry and boutique Addidas trackwear, that being said, KBAB has a preferred loadout listed below.

The KBAB is short for K-BAB, Written in English as Cascadian VDV (airborne forces). As such, our goal is to form a unified look and appearance similar to that of Russian Paratroopers. The uniform preference is as follows:
1.) Light blue striped Telnyashka shirt (Tank top or long sleeve), with a wide opening at the neck to show the pride of the VDV.
2.) KMLK, KZS, KZM, Berezka, Sumrak or any similar pattern. Green with white or yellow digital splotches.
3.) Light chest rig (Cherepashka, Grad-2, 6shXXX type) or Smersh/LBE
4.) AKS74 or similar collapsible stocked AK47 or 74 variant (or SVD, VSS, VAL, RPK, PKM, etc.)
5.) Bandanna, VDV Blue beret or Cloth Paratrooper helmet
6.) Black boots, belt, gloves (fingered/fingerless)

Q: What about patches? You aren't going to be wearing those stupid Cascadian flags are you?
A: Nyet! As a Russian frontier force, we follow Russian uniform standards. No morale patches. The VDV are some of the only Russian forces to wear patches in the field, and as such, we follow their standards. RR-KBAB unit patch on left sleeve (Patch soon to be for sale / produced), VDV tab on left breast, blood type on right breast and insignia on beret.

The Loadout is light and meant to ensure timely rushing towards HATO scum at all times.

You guys rock. Welcome to PDX!
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

Seeing as alcohol tolerance is a pivotal point of the Rushing Russians, I suppose it is pointless to ask about a minor being considered as a recruit...
Damn. Looks just as awesome as the Seattle crew!

When we say "alcohol tolerance" that can include "tolerating all the drunks on the team and their reckless shenanigans."

Don't you fret! Good number of RR members aren't twenty one. Such as myself.
I'd tell you to be careful. It's not the Tank you need to fear.

It's great to see some new life pumped into a stale community of old ghosts and newbie-nobodies.

Can't wait to trade plastic with RR on the field.

Offtopic: Russians never put the red star upside down.

And there's no "Каскадианских" in russian language. Actualy I don't know what did you meant.

hello, Cousins in russian is "Здравствуйте, братья" (hello brothers) or "Здравствуйте, товарищи" (hello comrades)
"Cousin" is not commonly used in russian language.

P.S. I just want to help...

I think it was phonetically spelling out Cascadian. I have no idea how cyrillic script works, but I came up with this " КАСКАДЯАН "

Cousin is a tongue in cheek answer; an inside joke among some players in Washington.

It's an inside joke among the chapter's founders. Or the fact we're dummies & do everything backwards compared to RR-Command.

Since there's few of us that actually speak Russian we're limited to programs like Google Translate.
