Swat team CQB

Postby bonanzaflyer » Sat Nov 15, 2014 9:37 pm

I am looking to join a team. I Am looking for a team that is serious trains at least a couple times a week and organizes games with other teams. I am open for any game style but I prefer CQB, swat extraction missions that require some thought process and working together with your team not just a free for all shoutout. If there is a Portland or salem team looking for an experienced member let me know.

A couple times a week for practice is like WOW. Most players that jump into this sport and try to go all out get burned out or run out of funds for the sport. Also this is usually the slow time of the season for a lot of us. March will pick back up.

I think I'll be ok. This is by far the cheapest hobby I have every had defiantly cheaper than airplane rentals at 350 bucks a hour. And i haven't burned out after all these years being in this type of industry now it's just legal to draw your weapon and shoot I've found heaven.

Are you L.E. or MIL?

Seeing the fear in a 12yr old's eyes as you clear leather, priceless.

Doesn't cost much to train... it's just 2 times a week is a lot of time. Unfortunately there haven't been any real serious CQB competitions in a long time, although that could change.

As for the cost I ment time from work, family, and everything to go to a practice. My wife would KILL me if I went out more then once a week. But then again I do have many other hobbies that I do. I'm sure if I gave up a couple she would be ok with it. Happy wife happy life.

That is going to change this coming year. I promise.

The best part is Robb, it has taken a few minutes, but it looks like all the guys are wanting to do what we used to do...except more fun.

Now, that being said, early 2015 we will announce our schedule. I've already expanded on the subject on our FB account. (AIRSOC)

I'm currently drafting new rule sets into a PDF. We are focusing on having a great experience for the player, actor, and admins. Our biggest hope is to build a community that is ready to have a great experience win or lose.

I have noticed that AP is sorta....well...dead. I've been lurking for a while. What happened? Did AP stop producing events and thus lost the hold? This place was the shit for a long time.
