Postby c-hal » Sat Feb 05, 2011 1:35 pm

I have a socom cyma m14 i got fom evike. Ive heard of people mounting m203s on m14s and i was just wandering how i would be able to do that. I the rails for the m14 ive seen only cover the top of the gun. If you have any info that can help me find a way to mount the m203 please let me know(:

M203 on an M14? That's f***in' gross. The only way you would be able to mount an M203 to an M14 (lord have mercy on people who do), is if you have an EBR body kit for your M14 which has a railed handguard.

M14 EBR:

But please don't do this. It's nasty and no one wants to see a grenade launcher on an M14.

M203 on a m14 socom? Eh cant say id like the look. Rather carry a grenade and throw it. But Does your m203 have rail mounts? I could see building in a rail. There is alot of room in the stock so get Short rail drill up some holes to line up. I would use flat head screws like the ones that hold on your sling points. Throw some washers and a 1/4 inch nut on the back tighten it down and attach the m203 it should work maybe glue the inside nuts and the rail to prevent unwanted wabble from use.

Just the look of that wouldn't be too hot bro. Like Shifty said, you would have to slap on a new body kit to make that work though

What looks cool and what works are two different things, the M16 was initially considered ugly, a rifle with no wood and a pistol grip? I'd personally like to know how this works out for you.

Someone is trying to recreate their hardcore mode 'sniper'+sonic boom class.

WTB real-world photo of this configuration.

OT: There are more than handful of M14 Rail systems with lower rails. Get one and a Rail mount 203 and your set.

I was tempted to put a warning. You should avoid operating a motor vehicle for up to 6 hours, that image could have affected the speed at which your nervous system operates.

I'll keep that in mind when I drive my car off a cliff to erase that horrid picture from my head.
