Okay. That just looks awesome.

Eh. I'm not terribly amazed at the quality of the decals and such. Has anyone fired or held one of these first hand to compare it? They could have done a bit better for the price.

Uh, don't think you know this, but these just came out.

No, like service member who's been trained on the real thing, and could visually compare it.

Yes, I do know the release was recent.

To clarify: I asked if anyone who was an active service member who had been trained on the AT-4 platform could chime in on their thoughts about the realism (Decals, molding, etc.) of the piece.

The rear sight looks... off... somehow. I can't quite remember exactly what they look like, but they don't look like that. I want to say they looked a lot more like the peep sights from M16's rather than what they are using.

Other than that, without actually handling the thing, it looks pretty good. Down to the off-colored green tape bands around the body.

Oh, and there is a blowout cone on the back of the real one that isn't there in the airsoft version. Not really a big deal, but still.

Clear your back blast area or you will be a no-go.
Hang it.

Looks pretty sick. My friends put a launcher together from scratch.... didn't work to well, hopefully this will work well.

I saw one of these in action at OP Lion Claws: R66 and was pretty awesome. Not sure of the brand, but dang was it great to watch and it was super effective.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

Was it launching vortex, or just using it as a shower?

Vortex, and it went pretty far. A guy on our team hand made one out of fiber glass and that thing works like a charm too.

Is the barrel the same size as say a 203 where you still have to stuff the vertex in? Or does it fit them better?
