GL1 for F2000

Postby xEdgecrusheRx » Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:12 pm

I've long wanted to take on the grenadier role for my team; however, I own an F2000 and I was wondering if anyone knew of a model of the GL1 grenade launcher for the G&G F2000.

Additionally, if I can't find a GL1, the I want to get an M4 that will perform as dependably as my F2000 but will be able to hold an M203. I have looked on Airsoft Megastore for a Classic Army which will satisfy my needs. So far, I like the following links:

Does anyone have any thoughts on this that might help?

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find one. You need a real one, or modify an EGLM.

Why not a standalone grenade launcher or a ICS 6 barreled launcher?

Isn't there a rail system for the F2000 that G&G has? I think you'd be able to mount a small madbull launcher on there.

I'm pretty sure G&G has some plans to make a GL1 for their F2000, if they haven't already made it. I'm too lazy to check.

I had considered this; however I haven't found any consistent reviews on the ICS 6, revolver-type, GL. I am curious as to what your opinion is of it. My team leader seems to be okay with it.

I am fairly new to the sport (about 9 months in, though I play every weekend). What is an EGLM? is that ARES or MadBull?

can you give me any specifics? I know it's really hard to rate FPS when there's so many flying out at once; however, what's the ROF like if you wanted to empty the whole thing as quick as possible ( not that it's my plan to run around wasting ammo ); how dependable is it? Consistent fire?

The FPS depends on the grenade not the launcher. It is dependable 95% of the time. You can shoot all 6 shells in ~3 seconds!

EGLM stands for Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module. Designed by FN Herstal, it was intended for the now defunct SCAR-L and SCAR-H, it could go from one to another in minutes, or be used as a standalone. I would recommend the VFC EGLM Standalone Deluxe kit, because of the fact that it's great, and if you buy a VFC SCAR down the line, you can use it with that. By the way, most grenade launchers are heavy. I would recommend the ICS because of the sheer firepower. You can get both from Redwolf Airsoft. Due to them being in Asia, expect to pay a larger shipping fee.

I am not as concerned about how hot they're shootin, but I would like to make sure they have some range. Who makes the best grenades for this purpose?

G&G F2000 GL 2012

Postby armsofgeddon » Sat Dec 17, 2011 8:20 pm

Got an email from G&G. They will be releasing the FN licensed EGLM made exclusively for the G&G F2000 sometime 2012.
